Project Manager for multiple award winning projects.  From conceptual estimates through the project warranty, this position entails all aspects of projects including: conceptual preliminary estimating, line item estimates, risk analysis, value engineering, bid solicitation & subcontract negotiations, Owner contract negotiations & assembly, submittals & shop drawings, budget management, complete day-to-day project management, conflict resolution, document management, and closeouts.  Highlights include:

  • Project Manager – 700 Central Apartments, 80 Units, 2 Story Below Grade PT Parking Structure, Retail/Restaurant, $21 Million – Historic renovation and repurposing of the McLeod and Smith Inc. furniture company headquarters.  The project includes two existing structures, a 4 story wood timber post & beam construction built in 1897, and a 7 story reinforced concrete building constructed in 1909.  A complex and rewarding brownfield site project with a wide variety of project requirements and funding sources including HUD financing, Certified Payroll, Historic Tax Credits, and Grant Funding by MN DEED, Met Council TBRA, Hennepin Country ERF, and the City of Minneapolis.  Significant work scopes included a million dollar masonry facade restoration package, contaminated soils, and half million dollar lead abatement scope of work.  Scheduled for Completion in November of 2016.
  • Project Manager – 7west Apartments, 213 Units, Retail, $26.9 Million – Project was fast paced with an accelerated schedule including 6 and 7 day per week work schedules, multiple work shifts, and overtime by most every trade. Interior Finishes & Design were coordinated during construction.  The Project was delivered 1 Month early, 9 Month Substantial Completion, to allow for fall semester leasing to meet the desired schedule of the Owners.  The project is LEED for Homes Gold Certified.
  • Project Manager – Rechelbacher Penthouse – Phoenix on the River Building, 16,800 SF $4.2 Million – High End Residential Condo Build-Out.
  • Project Manager – Solhaus Tower Apartment Building, 75 Units, $8.4 Million – Delivered in 7 Months. The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
  • Project Engineer – Solhaus Apartment Building, 75 Units, $10.2 Million – Superfund cleanup site with numerous sources of public funding.  Building construction was completed in 8 months.
